Siesta Motel, Kingman Arizona

The motel was built in 1929 and the original giraffe pattern stone building still stands. I wish I would have snapped a photo of the building, but I was too busy trying to imagine how cool the sign must have looked when it was lit by neon. Obviously, it is an apartment complex now but still a great reminder of some of the cool buildings and signage on Route 66. You can see it on East Andy Devine Avenue in Kingman, AZ
