Kelly's Restaurant Sign, Daggett California

This huge sign, planted firmly in the Mojave dust, once pointed the way to Kelly's Restaurant across the street. The word "Restaurant" was written on the curved arrow to guide travelers to the restaurant and motel which were built in 1947. The motel and restaurant are now closed and all that remains is this hulking piece of metal to remind us they were there. You can see the sign on County Road 66 in Daggett, CA
