Henning Motel Neon Sign, Newberry Springs California

This sign was also featured in the 1987 movie Bagdad Cafe. The motel itself was built in the 1950's. It's gone now, but long after the motel’s walls crumbled and its rooms became a playground for lizards, the sign stands tall, fading under the desert sun.
