The Will Rogers Theatre was built in 1946. it could sit 1,000 viewers and was decorated with a mural depicting scenes from Will Rogers life. The mural is still there. The first movie shown here was "Smoky" staring Fred MacMurray. Wow! Much of the exterior of the building has been modernized, but the fabulous neon sign remains almost exactly the same.
