Tallest Free-Standing Statue in the US, Tulsa Oklahoma

Standing 76 feet tall, this giant, called The Golden Driller, was put in place in 1966. He is so tall that he rests his gloved right hand on top of a real Oklahoma oil derrick. He is dedicated to the men of the petroleum industry. You can't miss him on East 21st Street in Tulsa, OK
