Former Rattlesnake Trading Post, Bluewater New Mexico
This old building was formerly the Rattlesnake Trading Post which opened in 1945. The sun was too bright when I snapped this photo but you can still barely see the "Cafe" sign above the doors on the left end of the building and the Rattlesnakes" sign above the windows and doors in the middle. And yes, there were rattlesnakes at the store in the "Reptile Garden" that was advertised as a tourist attraction. The building is on Route 66 in Bluewater, NM
